De separatisten in Donetsk melden negen aanvallen van het Oekraïense leger op hun posities bij Spartak, Sjachta Troedovska, Aleksandrovka, nabij de luchthaven, Dolomitnoje, Vasiljevka, Leninskoje en Sachanka. Hier zou geschoten zijn met 82 en 120 millmeter mortieren, granaatwerpers en artilleriegeweren.
Volgens de separatisten in Loehansk waren er gisteren dertien aanvallen van het leger op hun posities bij Pervomoajsk, Zolote-5, Froenze, Kalinovo, Molodjozhnoje, Kalinovo-Borstjevatoje, Smeloje, Lozovoje, Oboznoje en Voesjolaja Gora. Er zou geschoten zijn met 122 millimeter artillerie, 82 en 120 millimeter mortieren, vanuit pantserwagens, met granaatwerpers en artilleriegeweren.

On March 24, the Russian occupying forces three times fired at the
positions of Joint Forces, according to the press center of the JFO HQ.
During the shelling, the enemy four times opened fire from weapons
proscribed by the Minsk agreements, the report says. A total of
thirty-eight 120mm and 82mm mortar shells were launched on Ukrainian
positions.
“Al enemy attacks on our positions were carried out in the zone of
responsibility of the operational-tactical grouping 'Pivnich' [North]:
with the use of 82mm mortars – near the village of Zolote-4; 82mm
mortars and small arms – in the area of Novoluhanske; 120mm and 82mm
mortars as well as weapons installed on an infantry fighting vehicle —
near the town of Popasna," the report reads.

The past day brought no casualties among Ukrainian troops.
Not a single enemy shelling was left without an adequate response, the
headquarters said.
According to intelligence data, on March 24, two invaders were killed
and another one was wounded as JFO returned fire.
“From day-start today, the enemy twice shot at positions of Joint Forces
in the zone of responsibility of the operational-tactical grouping
Pivnich: sniper weapons were fired in the area of Luhanske;
large-caliber machine guns and small arms – near Novotoshkivske,” the
message says.
As a result of shelling, two Ukrainian defenders were injured.
Information on enemy losses as a result of a Ukrainian fire response is
being verified.
