Stadsverwarming gemiddeld 16,6 procent duurder

De stadsverwarmingsbedrijven hebben hun tarieven per 1 januari met gemiddeld 16,6 procent verhoogd. Dat heeft alles te maken met de 22,8 procent die het aardgas inmiddels duurder is geworden. De aardgasprijs telt voor 86,6 procent van de totale kosten die de verwarmingsbedrijven maken. Een gemiddeld huishouden betaalt nu 1.253,50 hrivna (39,58 euro) per gigacalorie aan geleverde warmte.

Niet alle stadsverwarmingsbedrijven hebben overigens hun prijzen evenveel verhoogd. Zes bedrijven vragen nu tussen de 10 en 21 procent meer aan hun klanten. De aardgasprijs voor de huishoudens werd per 1 november door het kabinet verhoogd met 23,5 procent naar 8.550 hrivna (269,79 euro) per duizend kubieke meter gas.

The gas price accounts for 86.6% of the heat tariff, she said. The increased tariffs will be applied by 18 district-level central heating providers. Another six district-level central heating providers were allowed to increase their rates by 10-21% on the average as of January 1, 2019, due to gas price hikes. As UNIAN reported earlier, on October 19, 2018, Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers raised the price of gas by 23.5% for households as of November 1, to UAH 8,550 ($311) per 1,000 cubic meters.
