Mariniers gaan grensbewaking aan de kust helpen

De Oekraïense grensbewaking langs de Zee van Azov en de Zwarte Zee wordt versterkt met 270 mariniers om een eventuele Russische invasie daar het hoofd te bieden. Het hoofd van de grensbewaking, Petro Tsihikal, heeft dit vanmorgen bekend gemaakt. ''We moeten ons realiseren dat de vijand niet slaapt, maar elk moment kan toeslaan. Als dat gebeurt, dan moeten we ons mannetje staan.''

Eerder deze week maakte commandant Serhi Popko van de landmacht bekend dat de de luchtmacht, marine en zijn landmacht meer manschappen gaan sturen.

As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukrainian Ground Forces Commander Serhiy Popko said Ukraine had bolstered its military presence along the coast of the Sea of Azov due to aggressive actions of the Russian Federation.
