Update coronavirus: 187 doden, 7170 besmettingen

Het dodental als gevolg van het coronavirus is gestegen naar 187. Het aantal besmettingen ging in de afgelopen 24 uur omhoog met 578 naar 7170. Dat heeft het ministerie van Volksgezondheid vanmorgen bekend gemaakt. De hoofdstad Kyiv telt inmiddels 1059 besmettingen, de gelijknamige provincie 451. In de provincie Tsjernivtsi gaat het om 1140 besmettingen.

De overige provincies: Vinnitsja 353, Volin 188, Dnipropetrovsk 186, Donetsk 21, Zjitomir 304, Transkapatië 230, Zaporisja 146, Ivano-Frankivsk 644, Kirovohrad 258, Lviv 282, Loehansk 27, Mikolajiv 99, Odesa 161, Poltava 161, Rivne 396, Soemi 89, Ternopol 499, Charkiv 101, Cherson 77, Chmelnitski 61, Tsjerkasi 220, Tsjernihiv 17.

Photo from UNIAN Photo from UNIAN The number of confirmed coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in Ukraine rose by 578 in the past day, to 7,170 as of the morning of April 23. "According to the Public Health Center, there were 7,170 laboratory-confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Ukraine as of 09:00 a.m. Kyiv time on April 23," the Ukrainian Health Ministry said on Facebook on Thursday. "Of them, 187 were lethal cases, 504 patients have recovered. Some 578 new cases were recorded in the past day." Data from Russia-occupied areas – the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the city of Sevastopol, parts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions – is not available. Tests were conducted with the use of polymerase chain reaction (PCR) in the Public Health Center's virological reference laboratory and regional laboratories. In total, there have been 21,058 reports on suspected COVID-19 since the beginning of 2020.
