In plaats daarvan hebben de Karpaten en andere streken in eigen land de interesse van één op de tien Oekraïners met vakantieplannen. Ook vertrekken ze naar hun datsja (8 procent) of brengen hun vakantie door bij familie op het platteland (5 procent). Slechts drie op elke honderd Oekraïners wil de zomervakantie doorbrengen in het buitenland. Van alle vrouwen blijft 40 procent gewoon thuis, bij de mannen is dat 35 procent. Tenslotte heeft 14 procent nog geen besluit genomen over de zomervakantie.

plan to spend holiday in occupied Crimea – survey
As was the case last year, a mere 1% of Ukrainians plan to spend their
summer holiday in Russian-occupied Crimea this year, according to a
survey conducted by Kyiv International Institute of Sociology.

The Carpathians and other places of Ukraine remain the most popular
destinations this year – this option was mentioned by 10% of those
polled. Other summer holiday options include vacation outside cities and
towns (dachas and other country houses), which was chosen by 8%, and
spending time with relatives living in villages was mentioned by 5% of
the polled.
Those who plan to travel abroad account for 3%.
