Rebellen beschieten woningen in dorp Zajtseve

Pro-Russische rebellen hebben gisteren het dorp Zajtseve beschoten. Door 122 millimeter artilleriegranaten werden meerdere woningen vernield. Er zouden geen slachtoffers zijn. Dinsdag werd het dorp Trojtske beschoten door de rebellen. Ook toen werden alleen woningen vernield en waren er geen burgerslachtoffers te betreuren.

Drie Oekraïense soldaten zijn gisteren gewond geraakt bij aanvallen van de pro-Russische rebellen op het leger. Volgens de militaire inlichtingendienst werden bij schermutselingen drie rebellen gedood en raakten eveneens drie van hen gewond. De rebellen voerden behalve op Zajtseve ook aanvallen uit op legerposities in de buurt van Sokolniki, Majorsk, Avdiivka, Novhorodske en Starohnativka.

The enemy employed 122 mm cannons in the attack that damaged a number of civilian households, according to the Joint Forces Operation Staff press service. Rescue and repair teams were deployed in the settlement, the report adds. Also, over the past day, hostilities continued in the areas of Sokolniki, Maiorsk, Avdiyivka, Novhorodske, and Starohnativka. Ukraine forces reported five instances of the enemy using five times the weapons banned by Minsk agreements. According to Ukraine intelligence, militants in the past day have 3 KIAs and 3 WIAs. In the same period, three Ukrainian troops were wounded. All of them have been evacuated to the hospital, with no threat to their life reported.
