Krasnohorivka onder vuur: dode, zes gewonden

Eén Oekraïense soldaat is gisteren gedood en zeven soldaten raakten gewond bij aanvallen van de pro-Russische rebellen. Het was vooral raak bij de stad Krasnohorivka, waar zowel de dode als zes van de zeven gewonden te betreuren waren. De rebellen voerden in totaal veertien aanvallen uit, de meeste in de omgeving van Donetsk in de avonduren en de afgelopen nacht.

De rebellen gebruikten granaatwerpers, mortieren, zware machinegeweren en zelfs antiluchtdoelgeschut tegen de soldaten bij de stad Avdiivka en het dorp Kamjanka. Met granaatwerpers en geweervuur werden de soldaten bij de kolenmijn Boetivka bestookt. Het leger schoot telkens terug. De soldaten bij Avdiivka zijn extra alert, aangezien de verwachting is dat de rebellen gaan proberen om de posities terug te veroveren die het leger afgelopen winter in bezit nam.

In de omgeving van Marioepol werden de soldaten in het dorp Bohdanivka bijna een uur lang aangevallen met granaatwerpers en geweervuur. De rebellen zetten in de provincie Loehansk zware machinegeweren in tegen de versterkte legerposities bij het dorp Stanitsja Loehanska. Het dorp Novozvanivka werd rond middernacht aangevallen met een pantserwagen.
