According to the rules of the national selection, three contestants from each semi-final will compete in the final show that will be broadcast Feb 24. The second semi-final will be held Feb 17. All performances are live. The judging panel includes Jamala (2016 Eurovision winner), Andriy Danylko (aka "Verka Serduchka") and Eugene Filatov (founder of ONUKA). Ukraine will present its entry in the second semifinal.

Een driekoppige jury en de televisiekijkers hebben gisteravond in de eerste halve finale Laud, The Erise en Vil'na aangewezen als de drie die in de nationale finale gaan uitmaken wie Oekraïne vertegenwoordigt bij het Eurovisie Songfestival dat in mei in de Portugese hoofdstad Lissabon wordt gehouden. De tweede halve finale is komende zaterdag, de finale weer een week later. De jury bestaat uit Jamala (de winnares van ESF 2016), Andri Danilko (bekend als Verka Serdoetsjka) en Eugene Filatov (oprichter van Onuka).
