Rebellen vallen Oekraïense leger achtmaal aan

Met slechts acht aanvallen van de pro-Russische rebellen was het gisteren een relatief rustige dag in de Donbas. Er waren ook geen slachtoffers onder de Oekraïense militairen. Het leger schoot viermaal terug bij een aanval van de rebellen. In de provincie Loehansk vielen die het leger 's avonds aan met 120 millimeter mortieren, granaatwerpers en machinegeweren bij het dorp Trojtske. In twee uur tijd werden veertig granaten op de soldaten daar afgevuurd.

De soldaten bij het dorp Zhovte werden beschoten met granaatwerpers en geweervuur. In de ochtend schoten de rebellen met 82 millimeter mortieren in de richting van het dorp Opitne in de provincie Donetsk.

Ook werd met granaatwerpers geschoten op de soldaten bij het dorp Vodiane en de kolenmijn Boetivka en met lichte infanteriewapens op de soldaten bij het dorp Piski en de stad Avdiivka. 's Avonds waren er drie aanvallen met 82 millimeter motieren op de rand van het stadje Marinka.
