Drie Oekraïense soldaten zijn gisteravond gewond geraakt bij aanvallen van de pro-Russische rebellen. Die voerden in totaal 38 aanvallen uit. Het industrieterrein van Avdiivka werd afgelopen nacht vrijwel onafgebroken en vanuit alle richtingen bestookt met mortieren, granaatwerpers en geweervuur door de rebellen daar. Het leger weerde zich ook flink, aldus de legerleiding vanochtend in het dagrapport.

De versterkte legerposities bij de dorpen Zajtseve, Kamjenka en Loehanske kregen ook te maken met aanvallen. Omstreeks elf uur 's avonds raakte een soldaat gewond bij een beschieting nabij het dorp Nevelske. In de omgeving van Marioepol waren er aanvallen met granaatwerpers op de legerposities bij Lebedinske en Sjirokine.

In de provincie Loehanks vielen de rebellen vooral aan in de buurt van het dorp Novo-Oleksandrivka. Er werden vijf aanvallen gemeld op de versterkte legerposities daar. Ook werd een aanval met 82 millimeter mortieren gedaan op de soldaten bij het dorp Donets.
