Weer toenemend oorlogsgeweld in Oost-Oekraïne

Het aantal aanvallen van de pro-Russische rebellen neemt met de dag weer toe. Gisteren ging het om 37, het hoogste aantal sinds het begin van deze maand toen het 'schoolbestand' werd afgekondigd om kinderen veilig aan hun nieuwe schooljaar te laten beginnen. Het Oekraïense leger meent dat de aanvallen alleen bedoeld zijn om soldaten uit de tent te lokken voor een tegenaanval, want al te precies zijn de aanvallen niet.

Uit de omgeving van havenstad Marioepol werden 20 aanvallen gemeld. Soldaten bij Vodiane kregen te maken met 122 millimeter artillerie, die bij Sjirokine met 80 millimeter mortieren en ze werden beschoten vanuit een pantservoertuig. De rebellen schoten met granaatwerpers en zware machinegeweren op soldaten bij Hranitne, Marinka, Starohnativka en Talakivka. Bij Oleksandrivka gebruikten de rebellen antitankraketten, granaatwerpers en machinegeweren.

In de omgeving van de stad Donetks werd met granaatwerpers en machinegeweren geschoten richting Avdiivka en Loehanske.

De separatisten in Donetsk melden op hun beurt drie aanvallen gisteravond laat op de dorpen Jasinovataja, Sparta en Sachanka. Er zou door het Oekraïense leger geschoten zijn met 82 en 120 millimeter mortieren, in totaal 38 granaten. Ook werden pantserwagens en granaatwerpers ingezet tegen de rebellen bij die dorpen.
