'Rebellen lijken grote aanval in de zin te hebben'

Er zijn aanwijzingen dat de pro-Russische rebellen weer wat van plan zijn. Mogelijk is een grote aanval op handen. Alle verloven zijn ingetrokken en niemand mag de kazerne nog verlaten. Dat meldt TSN op basis van informatie van de Oekraïense militaire inlichtingendienst. In de afgelopen dagen zijn de rebellen actiever geworden, aldus de Oekraïense soldaten bij Krasnohorivka.

De vijand is slechts 700 meter van ze vandaan. ''We horen steeds vaker motoren ronken. Er is ook veel rook en opwaaiend stof. Het lijkt er op dat ze nieuw materieel hebben gekregen, mogelijk ook nieuwe mensen. Er werd 's avonds niet eenmaal aangevallen, zoals gebruikelijk, maar driemaal. Ook schoten ze met kogels van 12 kaliber, wat al een hele tijd niet meer is voorgekomen'', liet een soldaat aan TSN weten.
